![]() ![]() ![]() We have Generals who can just deliver cruise missiles without anyone noticing, Lieutenants that somehow have more experience then their Sergeants, and Private Military Contractors that can just fly a frickin' gunship into a foreign country without getting shot down and massacre a city without starting a war. When it comes down to it, I think we just need to accept that Infinity Ward doesn't understand how militaries work in real life. Even on the Call of Duty website, the closest thing 141 is referred to as is a "Global Squad", and that's only because it included Vargas. We just assumed that because that's what the original Task Force 141 was described as and inferred by the real life Joint Task Forces that took part in the Iraq War. When you think about it, it's never stated ever in the games that 141 is a muti-national unit. My explanation is that in this fictional universe, Task Force 141 is just a four man team that Price came up with to pal around with. ![]() They did the same thing in Call of Duty: Vanguard where they established a set of numbered task forces that basically just involved a handful of individual soldiers with very colorful backgrounds. I think the writers at Infinity Ward and Activision have decided that a "Task Force" is just a small team of soldiers grouped together. ![]()
