![]() ![]() Had some dent work done work done on the back of the bell running back, not around the bell flare, and second small slide again both done very well, not quite seamless but close. Much of the lqcquer then is missing on the entire bell, going all the way back around the back bow appears largely down to the bare brass. You might call this a “Player’s Horn” as it does have some significant lacquer wear, perhaps an enterprising young musician marched with it in the school band, the logo is sharp. Sharp engraving, appears original lacquer. Vernon, says on bell: “Mercedes Model…Vincent Bach Corporation…New York 67 USA”. No bell or pipe trauma that we observe no repairs. We bought this from a well known instrument repair technician in Maryland, who specializes in replating and relacquering services, who replated this instrument and did a fabulous job. Nice example of the valuable, “Early Elkhart” vintage, valued Model 37. ![]()
